Established by the owners of Occasions Caterers, Protocol has over 25 years of experience staffing special events. In 1986 twin brothers Eric and Mark Michael had big ideas in a tiny apartment kitchen. With charm and creativity, they built what is now, a premiere full-service catering firm, setting the standard for catered events in DC. The brothers always knew that a well trained staff is crucial to an event's success. Once only known as the staffing department for Occasions, Protocol has evolved into its own entity, garnering a reputation for expertise in event logistics, management and elements of service.
